Art Deco Moderne Tiger & Birdseye Maple Bedroom Set |
This spectacular sleek Art Deco or Moderne bedroom set is shimmering golden matched birdseye and striped or tiger maple. Dating from about 1940, this wonderful set includes a standard full or double bed, tall chest of drawers, dresser and bedside table.
Very well made American furniture, drawers have dovetailed solid mahogany sides and finger pulls underneath to open.
Enhancing the dazzling matched grain, the lustrous golden finish is superb.
The bed is 6' 10" long and has original grained steel rails, headboard size is 56" wide..... see similar items |

Kittinger Vintage Lateral File Credenza |
Outstanding quality is reflected in this mahogany lateral file credenza signed by famous American maker, "Kittinger of Buffalo, NY."
The heavy brasses and feet are original, the lustrous finish is excellent. Drawer glide smoothly, and have solid oak dovetailed sides.
This classic vintage furniture is about 25 years old, and measures 5'3" long, 19 1/2" deep and 30 1/2" tall. (added January 5th, 2009) |

Victorian Walnut Burl Dining Table, Extends 12' |
A magnificent authentic Victorian dining table dates from about 1875, and is in wonderful condition. Solid American walnut, there are burl panels and deep moldings.
The richly carved pedestal opens, revealing two center legs for extra support when this table is extended. Wide 16" leaves are original and fit well. There is some minor warping and shrinkage separations as would be expected on genuine antique furniture of this era.

Banded Mahogany Demilune or Half Round Hall Console |
An American classic from the 1940's, this demilune cabinet or true half-round console is mahogany with subtle edge banding around stunning flame mahogany panels.
Lovely as a hall piece or server, this vintage furniture has a gleaming finish in superb condition. Signed "Johnson," hardware is original.

Victorian Eastlake Dresser or Vanity, Marble, Mirror |
A truly fine late Victorian or Eastlake chest or dresser has a "Tennessee Red" marble top, beveled mirror and carved birds. Solid walnut with exquisitely matched burl panels, the original rosy brasses have embossed faces.
Authentic antique furniture from about 1880, this is one of the best and would be wonderful for mounting a sink as a bathroom vanity.
The marble has only minor wear, the finish is very fine, and there is "smoke" to the original beveled plate glass mirror to show its age. It..... (added January 5th, 2009) |
